南宋宋先生述，毛日新编。毛日新序称其遇宋先生，将其亲授诗词编为《了明篇》。序撰于宋孝宗乾道四年（1168年）。包括《遇真歌》、《解迷歌》、《和朗然子进道诗三十首》以及词22首。述修炼身中汞铅。论述气功甚简明,如介绍“神气相随”在炼功中的作用时说: “气随神, 神随气, 神气相随, 透入泥丸里。长把金关牢锁闭, 捉得金晶, 暗地添欢喜。下辛勤, 须发志, 十二时中, 莫把工夫弃。阴尽阳全神出体, 功行成时, 名列神仙位。”
