太上灵宝三元三官消愆灭罪忏，不署撰人。从内容文字看约出于唐宋间。一卷，收入《正统道藏》洞玄部威仪类。书分三篇，即〈上元天官消愆灭罪忏〉、〈中元地官消愆灭罪忏〉、〈下元水官消愆灭罪忏〉，皆为元始天尊所说。内称一切众生身处尘劫，久染三毒六情诸多罪业。唯有延请高上道士，修建道场，燃灯烧香，至心归礼本书所列上元一百二十位天尊、中元一百二十位天尊、下元一百二十位天尊名号，忏悔一切罪过，方可消愆灭罪，祈求赦免，解脱灾害。此道法盖源于早期天师道以三官手书为人首过治病之术。《正统道藏》另有《元始天尊说三官宝号经》，内容与本书略同。
