作者不详。今人考其作于元末。书一卷。首为郡志辩,考辩司马悔桥,天台之得名等。接着录晋孙兴公《天台山赋》、唐柳泌诗、夏英公铭,又记载洞及丹井。所载较多者为宫观,尤其是有关桐柏观的记录甚多,有唐崔尚《桐柏观碑》、宋曹勋《重修桐柏记》、李白《题桐柏观诗》、白玉蟾《留别桐柏诗》等。据称桐柏观所在地,王子晋、葛仙翁、司马承祯都曾在此修道,为不死之福乡,养真之灵境。另有宋夏疎《重建道藏经记》可窥宋代道书流布的一些情况。天台山在今浙江天台县境内,自古为道教名山。本书虽未能全面反映天台山道教状况,但对研究古代浙江地方道教仍有较重要的原始资料价值。收入《道藏》洞玄部记传类。
