以无极大道、无上正真道、无为太平清约大道并列为三道，与 《三天内解经》中的无为大道、清约大道、佛道等三道有联系，吉 冈义丰《太平经と佛教》据此认为该经出自六朝极末。敦煌遗经 《灵真戒拔除生死济苦经》与本经部分相当，石井昌子称该经为 《道藏》中所见灵宝经(见《敦煌と中国道教》)。天尊述七道之法， 劝人斋戒、礼拜、诵七道名字咒、供养道士，称可除罪得福。
