《道藏》中有一本三千余字的小书《悬解录》,为道教外丹著作,作者不详。记载有张果(即后世传说“八仙过海”中的张果老)在公元733 年献给唐玄宗的五子守仙丸,其组成余甘子、覆盆子、菟丝子、五味子、车前子、枸杞嫩叶汁、莲子草汁、杏仁、生地黄汁、鹿角胶等补肾填精之品,形成五子衍宗丸的雏形。又有阿胶黄精丸,又称西施丸,主要组方阿胶、黄精、白芷、百合、木瓜、荷叶、枸杞、茯苓、益智仁等,后见于明代《食疗本草集经注》,是中国中医药学史上较早的女性美容保养良方。
