十卷。金寇才质(生卒年不详)撰。寇才质认为老子之经,章章有旨,且深且远。又以为前人诸家《老子》之解,多荒诞无稽,互起异端,殆越百家,纷纭肆辩,徒以笔舌为功,虚无为用,失古道本真。认为只有庄列文庚四子之书是得老氏门人亲传而著,得道德之根本。所以集四子之注,息天下未达者之谤议。《道德真经四子古道集解》,前有寇才质大定十九年(1179)自序,略述编此集解之旨。又称述《经史疏》十卷,以之相为表里。后有刘谔于大定二十年(1180)所作后序,赞寇才质编此书之举。此书于每章经文之下,总论其旨。每章注语引 《南华经》《冲虚经》、《通玄经》、《洞灵经》参证,中间略述己意,不用方术之事,不同鬼神之说。刘谔后序称此书纂违义者有一百余家,讥改本者近八百余家。总之,《道德真经四子古道集解》破雷同之说,驳旧注之误,是寇才质研究《老子》的成果。所引四子之言,亦因此书得以保存。现存明 《道藏》 本。
