本草著作。4卷。原托名于清叶桂(天士)，实为清姚球(颐真)所撰。刊于雍正二年(1724年)。此书分草、木、竹、果、金石、谷菜、禽兽、虫鱼、人等9部。所释《神农本草经》主要药物116味，兼以选收后世药物。共计174味。每药先简述性味、良毒、功效、主治。又于注文中阐释药性、归经与药理，末附配伍用药法。此书释药能将药物性味与人体脏腑功能紧密结合，使“药与疾相应”。此书释《本经》之文较有其特色，又因托名叶桂，故颇受后世尊经派推崇。陈修园之《本草经读》多采其论。《本草三家合注》亦有此一家。现存初刻本及其他清刻本、抄本、石印本等。建国后有排印本。
