第六十八章

【善为士者，不武。善战者，不怒。善胜敌者，不争。善用人者，为之下。是谓不争之德，是谓用人之力，是谓配天古之极。】
恃力曰武，恃气曰怒，接杀曰争，皆非善为士，善为战，善胜敌者也。古之用人者，敌中有虎将，常为谦下以招之，使彼释甲而来投，是谓不争之德，即所谓用人之力也。且其德足以配天，天不竞功而成，旷古之极则也。
此章秘义，为修丹者言之欲伏白虎，先降真龙。盖白虎为难制之物，龙不谦下，虎必奔逸。炼己无净，乃能用虎之力也。
