《连山》，后亦称《连山易》，古多只称《连山》，其名初见于《周礼·春官宗伯·大卜》，据传为天皇氏所创。远古有三易，《周礼》云：“太卜掌三易之法，一曰连山易，二曰归藏，三曰周易。其经卦皆八，其别皆六十有四。”其中连山易和归藏易，两千年来历代典籍鲜有记载，学术界无不认为其已失传，几成定论。此二易也成为中华文化领域里的一件千古之谜。历来学界以为，连山易是以艮卦开始，如山之连绵，故名连山。
