太上老君混元三部符是道家符录类典籍，撰人不详。从内容文字看，似出于唐宋间。《通志·艺文略》著录“三部符篆四卷”，疑即此书。今《道藏》本三卷，收入洞神部神符类。书中所载神符，大多出於宋以前。本书集各种神符七百四十余道，中有厌怪、避鬼、安魂、护身、安宅、避瘟、避土气、止虚耗、种田、利蚕诸符。其行符之法，大体是书符着怪处，或安门户床物，或佩带吞服。
