衡阳道人李德洽原述，金盖山人闵一得续纂，受业姪孙闵阳林校订。尝观红尘之中，纷纷扰扰，大抵皆汨于利欲，非滞功名事业，即自玩忽年华，不知复还本性；间有夙生智慧希求大道者，而机缘不偶，却遇庸流指引，陷入曲径旁蹊，终身莫悟。——此至道之不明于世也久矣！予因夙世良缘，幸遇真师，得参《上品丹法功夫节次》。今已效验，不敢自私，务为剪荆除棘、辟门引路，直指坦平大道，便人按步循行。如有好道之士，立心诚笃，信受无疑，须即澹嗜好、寡言语、省思虑、薄滋味、慎寒暑、均劳逸，以期志气清明，乃可希登仙品。
