南宋张行成撰。九卷。《四库全书》录《永乐大典》本。此书专明邵雍《皇极经世·观物外篇》之义,乃张氏《易》说七种之一。《皇极经世》含《观物内篇》与《观物外篇》两大部分,张氏以《内篇》理深而数略,《外篇》数详而理显,学先天者当自《外篇》始,因补阙正误,使原文以类相从,并推绎其旨奥,以成是书。此书是张行成所撰“易说七种”之一,专论《皇极经世·外篇》之义。《皇极经世·内篇》,前四卷推衍元、会、运、世之序,后四卷辨明声音律吕之微;《外篇》是比物引类以发挥蕴奥。张行成认为《皇极经世》一书,其《内篇》理深而数略,其《外篇》数详而理显,认为学邵氏先天之学者当自《外篇》开始,因此他补缺正误,使其文以类相从,又进一步推衍其旨而成此书。
