在汉代相学中以许负最为著名，许负本为一妇人，以善于面相而被汉高祖封为雌亭候，根据〈怀庆府志〉记载，许负著有〈德器歌〉、〈五官杂论〉、〈听声相行〉等现在我们还常看到很多相书中提到的〈许负相耳法〉等的书，但应该大总分是别人用其名而写的相书。如明代周履靖的〈许负相法十六篇〉就传为她的著作。
