亦称《大慈教经》、《慈教经》。中国人假托佛说所撰经典。作者不详。一卷。本经谓佛欲入涅槃时付法与阿难,嘱令以方便之力,善化善育众生,令出苦海,故特演说此经,称众生如持诵者,得免监狱、疾病、地狱三难;又谓称我名者,悉闻悉见,随声往救。经中强调释迦牟尼慈悯众生,故出此经以救众生,念此经者功德无量。经末有“汝等见振旦国”云云。本经名初见于《大周刊定众经目录》,判为伪经。中国历代大藏经未收,敦煌遗书中有收藏,后被收入日本《大正藏》第八十五卷。
