中国人假托佛说所撰经典。作者不详。一卷。可分为三种不同异本。三种异本结构大体相同,均为劝念佛、预示灾祸、劝写经、说明本经由来等,惟繁简不同。出于河西地区,时代当在晚唐。经中谓今年大熟之时,天降大灾,有十种横死,劝人日念阿弥陀佛一千遍,并传抄本经。不少写卷均有年代题记,大抵为敦煌被吐蕃统治时期,但多用贞元年号。本经历代经录均无著录,历代大藏经亦均不收,仅存于敦煌遗书中。后被收入日本《大正藏》第八十五卷。
