明何孟春撰。六卷。成书于嘉靖七年(1528)。孟春,弘治六年(1493)进士,官至吏部左侍郎。本书记述内容广泛,涉及明朝以前政治、经济、文化、军事、社会生活及民族、宗教诸方面。对科举、学校问题亦有收录。诸如卷五记教学由来,书院之制,科贡入仕之途,中第授官,状元曾棨受知,朝廷设官以为民;卷六记科考中第入仕后之艰难,以及翰林官言行轶闻。有嘉靖刻本、万历刻本等,今有《中华野史》标点本。
