清初新城(今桓台)王士祯(1634—1711)撰。作者次子王启汸于康熙三十六年(1697年)任唐山知县。以唐山为小县,土瘠民贫,为使其洁己爱民,遂书《手镜录》一册付之。前有自序,凡五十条。原为手写本,至道光十九年(1839年),钱塘金守楷始正式刻印成书。旧列史书职官类。
