一卷。南宋袁韶撰。袁韶字彦淳 (一作纯)，庆元鄞县(今浙江宁波)人。淳熙十三年(1186)进士，官至同知枢密院。生年不详，端平初卒，年77。袁韶知临安府时，宝庆二年(1226)，在钱塘(今浙江杭州)建许由以下39人祠，并各为之作传、赞，本书即其所作传赞文。其所记虽仅及一乡之耆旧，且郎简、谢绛等十余人均见于正史，然因系宋人所撰，又在元人修史之前，故书中许多事实可正《东都事略》诸书之误，亦可与《宋史》互证。有《四库全书》本、《知不足斋丛书》(第十六集)本;《武林掌故丛编》(第一集) 又有《钱塘先贤传赞》一卷、《附录》一卷本。
