◎鳊鱼与苔菜
黎大总统于阳历新年，赏各京官以故乡物品。查武昌本为产鱼之区，梁于湖金口樊口所产鲂鱼（俗名鳊鱼），味极肥美。省垣洪山所种芸苔菜（俗名菜苔。昔李文忠督鄂，以芸菜易地种植不佳，曾挖洪山之土数船运皖），柔滑可口，均属鄂州特产，燕都殊不易得。由庶务司派员回鄂，采每尾二斤以上之鳊鱼三千斤，芸菜四十担运京。此二物市价遂突涨云。
