司法部技正马某，系留美学生，近在天津与某道尹之女公子结婚。闻马于结婚前，择偶定有二条件：（一）晰白，（二）丰腴。此外均所不计。道尹女公子貌不扬，且适与马所期者相反，马知为媒妁所绐，结婚后，即不与新人同衾席，逼女归去，否则将向法庭为离婚之起诉。女不得已，即归某道尹署，气愤交集，当即服毒自尽。某道尹谓系马逼毙，拟向地方厅控诉也。
