明尹耕撰。耕，字子莘。代州(今代县)人。嘉靖进士，累官河南按察司兵备佥事。此志记嘉靖三年(1524)七月，巡抚都御史张文锦为防蒙古骑兵南下，在大同北修五城堡，听从贾鉴建议，不另募兵，而调大同兵二千戍守。镇兵多有家小，游堕已久，不愿吃苦，又惧张御下严急，于是郭鉴等聚兴杀张、贾，拥戴系狱总兵朱振为主。次年二月被朝廷平定。嘉靖十二年十月，镇兵因总兵李瑾执法严急，复拥朱振作乱，杀李瑾。次年正月，勾结蒙古入寇，户部郎中詹荣密结叛军拥戴之指挥马升，斩首恶者二十余人，迎巡抚都御史樊继祖入。全文四千余字。其版本有：①明刻本，《千顷堂书目》著录，已佚。②《名臣守攘事略》本，北图藏。
