安徽桐城徐宗亮著。光绪十二年刻本,《近代中国史料丛刊》据以著录。成于光绪十二年(1886)。系作者见闻杂录，凡六十三则。卷一皆清军将领胡林翼、左宗棠、李鸿章等用兵、任人、行政逸事。卷二记慈禧太后杀肃顺、官场杂事，以及广西风土、民情、边事和中法战争时刘永福、唐景崧、徐延旭等人琐闻。徐氏尝居胡林翼、李鸿章幕，与左宗棠关系尤密，故书中对清军内情亦有反映，如述湖广总督官文与胡林翼相互利用，湘、淮、川、楚军间之矛盾重重和湘淮军饷制优劣情况等，均可资参考。
