编年体史书。唐许嵩撰。20卷。记述始于东汉兴平元年,终于陈祯明三年的史事。因所记六朝皆建都建康(今南京)而得名。以正史为本,旁采诸史、地志旧文,按时序记述历朝政权变迁及军臣事迹,兼及山川古迹。凡有异事别闻,附以记注,另行详叙。引据广博,多出正史之外。记述吴、东晋、宋、齐、梁、陈六朝事迹。因六朝皆都建康,故名。记吴、东晋、宋、陈用编年体,于人物卒年下附小传;记齐、梁用纪传体。叙事除王朝兴替外,颇注意六朝古迹。修撰时征引唐初及唐以前典籍五十余种,今大都散佚,故所录多出“正史”之外,具有一定参考价值。
