断代纪事本末体史书。明陈邦瞻撰,共27卷,约10万字,其中《律令之定》一篇为臧懋循补撰。作者撰成《宋史纪事本末》之后,经徐申倡仪,又据《元史》和商辂等《通鉴纲目续编》,于万历三十四年(1606年)撰成此书6卷,立27目。并有徐、陈二人之序及《凡例》。臧懋循补撰《律令之定》1篇。张溥有论正,并改目为卷,是为27卷。叙述简明扼要,对于元代政治、经济上的一些重要事件,特别是与明代有关联的问题(如科举、文武官级等),书中都有较详细的记载。它还全文收入欧阳玄的《至正河防记》。这是我国水利史上一篇很重要的资料。
