亦称《唐顺宗实录》。唐韩愈撰,共5卷,收入《韩昌黎集》外集。实录是我国中古时期出现的编年体史书,它以封建帝王为中心,是由起居注和日历发展而来的。起居注是皇帝的言行录,始于汉武帝。实录的最早撰修者为南北朝梁时的周兴嗣,他所撰修的《梁皇帝实录》三卷,今已不传。唐实录由房玄龄等创修,后来历代皇帝也都有实录,共计有25种之多,大都亡佚,仅存《顺宗实录》。是现存唯一的唐代帝王实录,主要记载了唐顺宗李诵在位的八个月中,即永贞元年(805)正月至八月唐王朝所发生的各种重大事件,保存了一些有关唐代历史的珍贵史料。书成于唐元和九年(814)。以前史官韦处厚《先帝实录》尚未周悉,因予重修。愈等于韦书削除常事,增补关于时政诸事凡十之六七,遂成此编。
