明杨士奇著，三卷。书前有明正统七年(1442)著者序。清道光二十二年(1842)南海吴弥光芬陀罗馆刊印，集在吴氏辑刊之胜朝遗事二编第七册。著者于永乐(1403—1424)初年历翰林编修、侍读、左中允。永乐五年(1407)进左谕德，后下狱，寻释。永乐十五年(1417)进翰林学士，兼故官。十九年(1421)改左春坊大学士，仍兼学士。仁宗(1424—1425)即位，擢礼部侍郎兼华盖殿大学士，进少保、少傅、并兼兵部尚书。宣德三年(1428)进少师。本书记著者生平历任各官时与明成祖(1403—1424)、仁宗(1424—1425)、宣宗(1426—1435)三朝皇帝应答之文，编年排列，未分门目。内有请谕法司禁诽谤、消弭试场舞弊之风、革贪风、论官田减租及逃民之赦宥等事，对研究明初和明中期之际的法制有一定参考价值。
