宋初周羽翀撰。周羽翀籍贯不详，自署称“儒林郎、试秘书省校书郎、前桂州修仁 令”。全书三卷，分别记叙长沙马殷、武陵周竹逢、江 陵高季兴事迹，因三家皆据楚地称王，故称“三楚”。书 中所述兴废始末，与欧阳修《新五代史》颇有异同，抵 牾不合者甚多，如记马殷曾为邵州刺史，记马希范嗣立 后桑维翰为宰相，因旧隙奏削去其半仗，记王逵非为潘 嗣战败而殁，而是败于南越，只身逃亡，死于途中，等 等。但周羽翀据故老传述，撰录成书，书中所记旧文轶 事，足以补《新五代史》之缺，吴任臣撰《十国春秋》 也多所采用。
