渔者庶其廉与妇竞绝，数月不通。于越入楚，兵大掠。各东西匿，死生不相恤。人诤庶其廉盍聚诸，辄谢去。一日，渔于海，获甲虫曰鲎，雌雄相负，虽风涛不解。庶其廉悔曰：“是物也，人或不如可乎？”归召妇与居，礼之终身。君子曰：阴阳合而大化彰，寒暑正而岁功成，夫妇和而家政理。天道也，亦人道也。俗降世污，有反目至死弗觌者，不亦悲夫！视庶其廉之能悔，抑又贤矣。
