中国人假托佛说所撰经典。作者不详。一卷。经中叙述天地由变坏而生成的情况;人类的出现及地狱、须弥山和四大部洲的情况;四大天王及至三十三天的情况;铁围山及诸地狱、劫运的情况。最后叙述阎浮提洲诸国的情况,如西方晋国、北方月氏等等。内容大致取自《大楼炭经》、《起世经》等,亦有任意编造的成分。本经未为中国历代经录著录,隋以后历代经录载有伪经《妙法莲华天地变异经》一卷,或即此经。中国历代大藏经未收,仅存于敦煌遗书中,后被收入日本《大正藏》第八十五卷。
