王充兄子琬，使于窦建德军中，乘炀帝所御骏马，铠甲甚鲜。太宗曰：“彼所乘，真良马也。”
尉迟敬德请往取之。乃与三骑，直入贼军擒琬，引其马以归，贼众无敢当身。
敬德常侍宴庆善宫，时有班在其上者，敬德怒曰：“汝有何功，合坐我上？”
任城王道宗次其下，解喻之。敬德勃焉，拳殴道宗，目几至眇。
