马周
马周西行长安，至新丰，宿于逆旅。主人唯供诸商贩而不顾周，遂命酒悠然独酌，主人翁深异之。及为常何陈便宜二十于事，太宗怪其能，问何。何答曰：“此非臣发虑，乃臣家客马周也”。
太宗即日召之。未至间，遣使催促者数四。及谒见，语甚悦，授监察御史。奏罢传呼，置鼓，每击以惊众，时人便之。迁中书令。周病消渴，弥年不瘳。
时驾幸翠微宫，敕求胜地，为周起宅。名医内使，相望不绝，每令常食以御膳供之。太宗躬为调药，皇太子临问。
