元太祖尊礼邱长春，屡试其术。一日，长春入朝，语弟子可掘坎以俟。及入，太祖赐鸩酒一杯，长春饮之，无难色。亟归寝坎中，得生，顶发尽秃。明日，又谓弟子索丝绳以入，太祖赐玉冠，长春出丝绳系之而谢。太祖神其术，礼之愈隆。后欲妻以公主，坚不可辞，遂自腐以告绝。其日乃十月九日，今京师谓之阉九，为会甚盛。
