清代白话长篇神怪小说。十二回。题“烟水散人著”。作者翁桂,字凝香,号烟水散人,江苏苏州洞庭东山人。成书于清咸丰六年(1856)。本书从神话说起，写两个人的经历故事，一反一正，对比鲜明，其用心如书中自序所言：“从忠孝节义、悲欢离合之中，生出渺茫变幻，虚诞无稽一段因由，借端借事，惩劝醒世。”本书是作者根据亲身经历之所见所闻构思创作而成，在某些地方亦借鉴了《红楼梦》一书版本：清咸丰六（1856）年原稿本。十二回。
