明代文言传奇小说集。邵景詹撰。据书前作者小引谓著于万历二十年壬辰(一五九二)。共二卷八篇,现存主要版本有清同治《剪灯丛话》本、一九五七年上海古典文学出版社《剪灯新话》附刊本、一九八一年上海古籍出版社《剪灯新话》附刊本。《觅灯因话》 (以下简称《因话》)是仿照瞿佑的《剪灯新话》而作的,内容多为劝善惩恶,因果报应故事,均为作者见闻的实录,故文笔比较朴实,很少渲染才情,这也与当时盛行的八股文体有关系。
