小说。五代陈纂撰。纂,颍川(今河南许昌)人,自号袭明子。分为三卷,卷一、二各三十条,卷三二十七条,共八十七条,计一万余字。 《文献通考》、 《宋志》均入子部小说家类, 《直斋书录解题》曰: “陈纂撰。自号袭明子,所载多吴、越事,当是国初人。”《唐人说荟》中蔡羽识曰: “唐人《灵应录》、 《闻奇录》二帙合之,即陈氏《葆光录》,不知孰先孰后,吾善其类者”。有《顾氏文房小说》本、 《丛书集成》初编本。明人蔡羽跋《闻奇录》、《灵应录》二书时,指出两书合之,即陈氏此书。多记怪异奇事,如写某官失宠前,家中狗作鸡鸣,桌上双笔起舞回旋,某和尚好灭蝼蚁,病笃时遭到蝼蚁报复。然也有充满生活气息的传闻轶事,如记晚唐陆龟蒙事迹,颇有文学史料价值。另有记载风土民俗的作品,如写作者经历闽中遇温泉等事
