续小儿语

吕坤的父亲吕得胜为了使儿童诵习有教育意义的儿歌，写了《小儿语》。吕坤觉得义犹未尽，还有话可说，便写了《续小儿语》。此书形式与《小儿语》相同，仍分四言、六言、杂言三部分。不过内容比《小儿语》更成人化了。宣传中庸之道，主张做一切事情都不要过分。所叙述的也完全不是儿童之事，而是大人的处世经验和处世哲学，把这些经验和哲学灌输于儿童，使他们从小就遵着去做。其中也有富于哲理的，在今天还是有价值。
