元人郭居敬集。先后有人为之序诗、作图,刊行多种版本。该书为民间流传甚广的童蒙读物。内容为自上古至唐宋二十四个孝亲故事。它们是“孝感动天”(虞舜)、“戏采娱亲”(老莱子)、“鹿乳奉亲”(剡子)、“为亲负米”(子路)、“啮指心痛”(曾参)、“单衣顺母”(闵损)、“亲尝汤药(刘恒)、“拾葚供亲”(蔡顺)、 “为母埋儿”(郭巨)、 “卖身祭父”(董永)、 “刻木事亲”(丁兰)、 “涌泉跃鲤”(姜诗)、“怀桔遗亲”(陆绩)等等，郭居敬编撰的《全相二十四孝诗选》,对二十四孝故事人物进行筛选、排序,再配上诗歌。郭居敬在诗体上选择四句的五言诗,平直亲切,长短适中,便于上口和记忆。
