小说。佚名撰。二卷。上卷原题下注曰“记炀帝宫中花木”，下卷原题下注曰“记登极后事迹”。鲁迅认为系编者所加，收入《唐宋传奇集》时删去。本编上卷写炀帝自出生至杨素扶他有国，继文帝位后，营造宫苑，奢侈淫乐的宫闱生活。下卷写炀帝东幸，荒淫无度，大肆搜刮，激起政变，最后自缢于扬州。作品从多方面揭露炀帝独断专行，谏诤莫从，“大兴西苑，两至辽东”，以致天下为墟，饿殍盈野，逼民造反的历史背景，具有一定批判和认识意义。有《古今说海》、《古今逸史》本《说郛》节删本。为鲁迅编《唐宋传奇集》收录。
