唐东阳郡滨于浙江，有山周数百里，江水曲而环焉。迁滞舟楫，人颇病之。常侍敬昕，大和中出守，其山一夕云物曛晦，暴风雷电，动荡室庐，江水腾溢，莫不惶惑。迨晓方霁，人往视之，已劈而中分，相远数百步，引江流直而贯焉，其环曲处悉填以石。遂无萦绕之患。
