赵叟
扶风县西有天和寺，在高冈之上。其下有龛，豁若堂，中有贫者赵叟家焉。叟无妻儿，病足伛偻，常策杖行乞。里中人哀其老病且穷无所归，率给以食。叟既得食，常先聚群犬以餐之。后岁余，叟病寒，卧于龛中。时大雪，叟无衣，裸形俯地，且战且呻。其群犬俱集于叟前，摇尾而嗥，已而环其衽席，竞以足拥叟体，由是寒少解。后旬余，竟以寒死其龛。犬具哀鸣，昼夜不歇，数日方去。
