凡二卷。唐代怀信撰。收于大正藏第五十一册。搜集有关因果报应之故事，以警劝世人。分为十类，计有七十三条、雅诰二章、事迹七十一人（附见十四人）。所集以南北朝至唐代之事迹为多，为了解此期佛教信仰之珍贵资料。本书并保留他书所未载之资料，如有关三阶教徒之事迹。本书传至日本后，庆证寺僧玄智曾作续补，附于卷下末。
