亦称《沙门法琳别传》、《沙门法琳传》、《法琳别传》等。佛教传记。唐彦悰撰。三卷。是一部记述唐代僧人法琳生平事迹的传记著作。以纪年为纲,除记载法琳行状及重要言论和著作外,还汇集了不少反映唐初佛道斗争的历史资料。是在《续高僧传》的基础上,增补《集古今佛道论衡》、《广弘明集》等资料编纂而成,总计二万六千余字。本书约成于唐高宗乾封年间(666—668),因法琳被唐太宗判处流放,书成后即遭查禁,故《开元录》未录,历代大藏经也缺载。今见载于《高丽藏》、《频伽藏》和日本《大正藏》。
