一卷。正量部佛陀多罗多法师造，陈优禅尼国沙门真谛译。简称《明了论》或《了论》。收在《大正藏》第二十四册。全书主要系以二十二首偈颂，列出律藏中的名目，并以散文体解释其义。第一偈相当于发起序，偈云（大正24·665b）︰‘毗尼毗昙文所显，与戒及护相应人，（中略）诸佛所赞修三学，不看他面我当说。’第二偈以下二十颂是正宗，即说八戒护、九十六分别等六十余条名目，第二十二偈是结颂。长行之初云（大正24·665b）︰‘如本二十二明了论，能分别解释律所立名。我今当说。’其次就颂一一解说之。末了记载（大正24·672c）︰‘此论是佛陀多罗多阿那含法师所造。为怜愍怖畏广文句人故，略摄律义。
