凡二卷。宋代明教大师契嵩（1007～1072）着。收于大正藏第五十一册。系由传法史考订禅门祖师之正脉法统，并论述师徒面授、付法相承之问题，为传法正宗记之姊妹篇。契嵩认同出三藏记集、达磨多罗禅经等诸说，而非议付法藏因缘传之说，以阐明自释尊至达磨二十八祖嫡传法系之正统性，并答辩禅门‘以心传心’、‘教证一如’等问难。
