全一卷。唐代弘忍述。论述守一己之心为修道之要门。收于大正藏第四十八册。内题为‘凡趣圣道悟解真宗修心要论’。此论内容共分果、行二门，藉十四条问答方式，论释有关自心本来清净、不生不灭、本师、众生与佛同体、持守本真之心为涅槃之根本、入道之要门、十二部经之宗、三世诸佛之祖，及无记心、我所心灭、真心等之意义，及其摄属果、行二门之情形。所引典籍有十地经、维摩经、金刚经、心王经、涅槃经、法华经、观无量寿经等。
