凡二卷。隋代智顗（538～597）说，灌顶（561～632）记。又称梵网菩萨戒经义疏、菩萨戒经义记、菩萨戒经义疏、菩萨戒义记、天台戒义疏、天台戒疏、戒疏。收于大正藏第四十册。本书系注解梵网菩萨戒经。初立释名、出体、料简三科，次释经文，解义甚为简略。天台、净土宗所传之大乘圆顿戒专依此书而立。收入净土宗全书第十五卷。本书之注疏有明旷之菩萨戒义疏删补三卷、道熙之菩萨戒义疏钞四卷、蕴齐之菩萨戒义疏记三卷、袾宏之菩萨戒经义疏发隐五卷、道光之菩萨戒义疏见闻六卷等。
