印度商羯罗主造，唐代玄奘译，全一卷。作者商羯罗主，是陈那论师的弟子，因陈那所著之‘因明正理门论’深奥难解，故简明综括上书之要旨，并加上自创之论说，而成一书，以做为后学入于因明正理之阶梯。内容分述真能立、似能立、真能破、似能破、真现量、似现量、真比量、似比量等八门之义。其中，真能立、似能立二门为本论之主要部分，甚他六门则略说。真能立一门，专门说明宗（命题）、因（理由）、喻（譬喻）等三支，似能立一门则举出三十三过。
