佛说救拔焰口饿鬼陀罗尼经，一卷，唐不空译。阿难逢焰口饿鬼怖而白佛，佛为说陀罗尼救拔焰口，施饿鬼之法自此始。佛在尼拘律园，阿难独居，念所受法，于夜三更，见焰口饿鬼，怖而问佛。佛为说无量威德自在光明胜妙力陀罗尼。即今变食真言。并说多宝、妙色身、广博身、离怖畏，四如来名。若施鬼等，持七遍，施仙等，持二七遍。供三宝，持二十一遍。焰口法始于此。
