凡二卷。隋代天台智顗述，门人灌顶记。又称别行玄义、别行玄、观音玄、观音经玄义。收于大正藏第三十四册。为天台五小部之一。本书内容阐释法华经卷七观世音菩萨普门品之玄义，依准智顗于法华经玄义所立释名、出体、明宗、辨用、教相等五重玄义之分科，设通、别二释，就普门品之大纲及‘观世音普门’五字作精细之解释。为现存普门品注释书中最古之著述，后世学者疑系智顗讲述‘摩诃止观’前所作。本书虽与观音义疏同为开示天台性恶法门之重要典籍，然于智者大师别传、大唐内典录，及续高僧传中，皆未言及此书为智顗所述。此外，宋代四明知礼就本书而作观音玄义记四卷，乃集性恶说之大成者。
