凡十卷。唐代慧沼（？～714）述。又作金光明疏。收于大正藏第三十九册。金光明最胜王经现存之译本有三：北凉昙无谶译、隋代宝贵等糅编、唐代义净译。本书乃根据义净之译本所作之注释书。旨在阐释金光明经之起因、名称、宗、体，以及金光明经之说法时间、受持本经之利益，并逐一依文会释。本书之特征有二：(一)其立场为三乘、五姓各别等法相宗教学之基础。(二)强调金光明最胜王经符合唐代流行之护国思想。
